Emerging Artists Art Show
New Artist? New Art? New Year!
Are you a new artist? Or do you just have new art you want to put in a show. This is a fun, no pressure space to showcase your art.
Deadlines and Dates:
- Call for Artists registration has CLOSED.
- Art drop off dates Sat. January 18 from 10 am - 1 pm & Sun. January 19 from 12 - 2 pm.
- Exhibit dates are Fri. January 31 and Sat. February 1, 2025
Fri. January 31 from 5:30 - 8:30 pm (Opening Night)
Sat. February 1 from 10 am - 1 pm - Artists retrieve work Sunday, February 2 and February 9 from 12 am - 2 pm.
It is the registered artist's responsibility to pick up artwork after the show by contacting the Watson Wonder Box. Shaydee Watson is not responsible for works left behind and not picked up on scheduled dates.
Submission Information:
- There is no show theme for the Emerging Artists Art Show. Artwork can be newer work or artwork that has never been shown. This show is open to artists 13+, so I ask that you keep that in mind when selecting works to be shown alongside student pieces.

The registration fee for this show is $20 per artist. Each artist is only allowed to enter 1 piece in the show. The reasoning behind this is these shows have become quite popular and space in the Wonder Box is limited.

Must be 13 years and up to participate. If you are between the ages of 13 - 17 years old, please get your parents permission to participate.

All artwork is required to be for sale.

Watson Wonder Box will process all sales. 75% commission to the artist, 25% commission to the Watson Wonder Box. After the show is over, the Wonder Box will send your 75% commission of the sale, via check, mailed to you. Please make sure to include your mailing address when registering and legal name for the check.

Artwork must be 11x17 or smaller. For example, 10x10, 5x7, 11x14, 8x10 inches. All of these are fine. Anything larger than 17 inches will not be accepted without approval.

No AI artwork will be allowed, but all other mediums are welcome.

You must register before the call closes and registration payment must be paid to be in the art show.

3D artworks also must be small. The base of the piece can be no wider than 10 x 10 inches. Height is not very limiting as long as it’s stable.

All 2D artworks must have a claw tooth hanger or a wire hanger on the back to be hung safely in the gallery space. Your work must have hanging hardware on the back or it will not be shown.

Watson Wonder Box will not be responsible for art damaged due to improper hanging systems installed by the artist.
- Watson Wonder Box will not be responsible for artwork left behind after the designated art pick up days have past.
